In 2008, he sold Chateau los Boldos, but continued to pursue his passion for wine making. He kept a vineyard in one of the best terroir of Chile, at the foot of the Andes mountains: the Masseney family wine estate was born.
With his friend the famous winemaker Stephane Geneste, and using centuries old winemaking techniques in the best French tradition, they are producing wonderful wines such as Flaviata, Chateau M and the exceptional Donum, recognised by connoisseur as truly exceptional and elegant fine wine.
